Welcome to TCM Werkshop

TCM Werkshop is a premier Mercedes specialist repair shop in Austin, TX.

Our goal with you is to repair your vehicle as efficiently and competitively as possible with the end result of keeping you and your automobile on the road longer. We aim to develop long-term working relationships with clientele characterized by trust, transparency, and satisfaction.

Although we specialize in Mercedes repair, we are now working on BMW vehicles, models from 2006 or newer. If you already bring your Mercedes to us and have other brands of vehicles, we are happy to provide quotes for maintenance jobs such as brakes or oil changes. We are always here to provide consultation if you’re experiencing a unique problem or can provide pre-purchase inspections for prospective vehicles you are thinking of purchasing.

Tony Matisi

Owner & Head Mechanic
Tony has lived in Austin, Texas his entire life and has been working on Mercedes since 1985. Today, he is an A.S.E. Certified Master Technician with nearly 40 years of experience. He started off as a shop porter for an independent Mercedes repair shop and worked his way up over the years, eventually becoming the top technician for that shop. After being employed there for almost 30 years, he one day decided to take the leap and start his own Mercedes repair business in North Austin. The name, TCM Werkshop, is an acronym for Tony, his wife and co-owner, Cammi, and his daughter, Megan. The three have worked together to build a thriving family business, which has now expanded to a team of six. They are happy to provide honest service at a fair price, providing quality for the client and a legacy for the family.

Cammi Matisi

Owner & Accounting
Cammi co-owns the business with her husband, Tony, and is the Administrator for the Werkshop. Cammi was born in Selma, Alabama and has lived in Austin for over 30 years. When she and Tony decided to start up the business, Cammi worked tirelessly at night and on weekends, while still working her full-time job, in order to do much of the accounting and administrative tasks required to start a new business. She is a vital piece to the functioning of the shop and provides valuable guidance and direction for her employees.

Eddie Hobart

Mechanic
Eddie was born in Philadelphia, lived in San Diego for a while, and has settled in Austin in 2017. He began working for TCM Werkshop in 2023 and brought with him his expertise working with Mercedes and BMW. Eddie has been in the automotive industry since 1996, starting off working as a lube technician at a Nissan repair shop. Eventually, he went on to work for the Mercedes dealership for 16 years, gaining experience and knowledge of the brand. Along with being A.S.E. Certified, he is a Mercedes Master Technician.

Nate O'Brien

QC Tech
Nate is from Austin, Texas, and is a former Eagle Scout that Tony mentored. In late 2020, Nathan began working with TCM Werkshop as a shop porter and a front desk clerk. Over the years, he has gained experience as an oil technician, a service writer, and coordinator between the customers and the Werkshop. After working for TCM Werkshop for several years, Nathan has become an integral team member who has built trusting relationships with the clientele.
